Our Story – Drone Exploration

From passion to professional precision

Drone-Exploration's adventure began in 1987, fueled by a personal passion for remote-controlled aircraft. This hobby, driven by curiosity and innovation, has evolved over the decades. In 2021, we acquired our first professional quadcopter drone, marking the beginning of a new phase focused on high technology and industrial needs.

Thanks to my core profession, closely linked to the mining sector, I have acquired a solid understanding of bulk products, loading operations, stock volumes, and safety requirements at mining sites. This field experience is a major asset in the application of drone technologies for precise volumetric surveys, technical inspections, and analyses tailored to the realities of northern Quebec.

We quickly noticed a growing need for professional aerial imaging among industries on the North Shore. To meet this need, we completed advanced pilot training, accredited by Transport Canada, at the specialized YulDrone school.
